CALL FOR ARTWORKS
Practice-oriented research has established itself in the postgraduate setting around the world, particularly in the fields of Arts and Design. In addition to research at Master and PhD levels, the incorporation of the practical dimension is also present in different technical, artistic, and bibliographical productions carried out by professors, students, and research groups. This scenario has favoured new and interesting discussions about experimentation and critical thinking in the contemporary academic context. The LINK 2021 Symposium is an event created to broadening these discussions and stimulating researchers, educators, filmmakers and artists about the possibilities and potential of practice-oriented research.
In its third edition, the Link Symposium opens its call for an online exhibition of artistic works resulting from projects, individual or collective, developed within the academic sphere.
Given the interdisciplinarity and diversity of research and projects, any categories of works are eligible – with no limit on works per participant. There are also no restrictions on the original language of the work, year of production and format. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, it is a mandatory condition that each registered work can be presented or represented in online digital support, such as a video or website (containing the record or the work itself).
